Halfway House - Dublin Bar

Customers always ask the following question...

\"Why is the pub called the Halfway House?!\"

And our answer always is.........

In days gone by, Meath and North County Dublin farmers nicknamed the pub The Halfway House as it was a prominent watering hole that was “halfway” to Dublin on their route to the markets. The original name for the pub was actually The White Lion.

And still to this day the Halfway House is a meeting point for friends, old and new, to meet up and catch up over tasty food and a drink.
